Will is accused of beating a pedophile priest, previously investigated for murder, who molested, tortured and raped him and his brother 36 years ago when they were ages 4 & 7; forcing acts of incest, sodomy, oral copulation, strangulation; and threatening to kill them and their family if they ever told anyone.

The William Lynch Legal Defense Fund was created to defray legal expenses associated with the criminal charges brought against Will in connection with the alleged beating of Father Jerry Lindner in May 2010. If the donated funds exceed Will's criminal defense expenses, the additional funds will be used to fight his civil case that is predicated on abuse he was forced to endure at the hands Father Lindner. 

This legal defense fund, in general, sends a clear message that sexual abuse and exploitation of children by priests will not be tolerated. The fund stands for the proposition that perpetrators of sexual abuse will be brought to justice and that members of the community rally behind Will and others similarly situated to bring an end to the countless number of cases of sexual abuse by priests. The William Lynch Legal Defense Fund works with Will and his attorneys to decide when to leverage the legal defense fund.

Will's fight is likely to be a long drawn out affair and a very expensive one. A number of friends and supporters have made inquiries on how they can help.
